What is the Shadow

Why do we insist on saying fear, anger or grief are dark or hidden? Why are we afraid to say, I’m fearful,” or I’m angry at this moment? Or I’m grieving over a loss. There’s nothing dark about fear or anger, and it’s no different than happiness or joy—unless we judge and make it so. Fear is only a word. Anger is only a word, and it has no other meaning than your emotional memory. We don’t see the shadow because we are determined to hide it.

Let’s talk about Anger—Anger is a great motivator. Haven’t you ever been in a situation with someone and said, “Watch this – I’ll turn my entire life around.” Don’t let someone else determine your fate-use anger as that motivating energy to change your life and yourself.
