Hathor is love, the mistress of the heavens, and the goddess of mothers, fertility, children, and childbirth and is associated with turquoise, malachite, gold, and copper. She is the personification of the Milky Way and appears as the Bast Goddess in the valley of the temple of Khafre and lower Egypt.
