Seasonal Flu

Did you know the word influenza came from Medieval Latin, influentia in an astrological sense and notion of astral, occult, or atmospheric influence in 1743? I thought perhaps it meant, in-flew-something.

Dis-ease (illness) begin by thoughts, Bruce Lipton, MD wrote a book, Biology of Belief, where he talks about how what we think and feel determines what diseases we get. How you get sick begins by limiting thinking, and that energy filters into the emotions, how you feel, and down into the dense nature of the physical body and nervous system. By the time we experience symptoms, the thought patterning has taken over the system.

It’s challenging to grasp that disease is a thought-form. We are witnessing a massive invasion of thought-forms, “you will get sick” if you don’t distance or wear a mask. Thought forms are powerful. It’s the power of suggestion. If you watch TV, there are several commercials about diabetes and psoriasis, and if you listen long enough, a person can convince themselves they have diabetes.

When I work with clients, I see them like pincushions, the pins are thought-forms, bombarding the mind and energy field. It’s an invasion of limiting thinking that contributes to the dis-ease in the body.  To maintain good health, you need to keep the organs at a high pitch, get very good nutrition, exercise, and self-care regularly. The organ system slows down due to a lack of good nutrition and exercise, plus negative thinking.

Self Care

Every month you need either a massage, acupuncture or Shiatsu. Daily you need exercise, like yoga, Qigong, TaiChi, walking, running, the gym and drink half your body weight in ounces of purified water, and eat locally and fresh in-season foods. More food-in-seasonimportantly, notice what you are thinking.

Recently on Facebook, a man, said: “I can’t go outside because there are so many cases of influenza.” He’s fearing the world around him and buying into something outside of him as being more powerful than he is. Viruses are non-living things—they don’t have a mind and can’t discriminate. On the other hand, thoughts are powerful energy and create a life or not.  How are you pulling fear to you, do you fear the world around you?

To stay healthy today or in the next few months, you’ll need to keep the body in balance, keep the organs at a high pitch, and align the nervous system to the organs, again with daily and monthly self-care: massage, acupuncture or Shiatsu. These treatments energize the organs, so you stay healthy.

Healthy Tips

Remember to replenish the body with enough electrolytes daily—also, Vitamin B, C D, and Potassium. Drink mineral water with lemon or lime. Getting leg cramps at night, restore the body with calcium, potassium, and magnesium. On vacation and drinking too many margaritas? Take a handful of digestive enzymes to neutralize the effects of the alcohol or the homeopathic remedy Nux Vomica before bed. It will help the liver out and put you to sleep. Consider a herbal detox two times a year. First, in the Autumn and follow up in the Spring, especially helpful if you live in colder climates.
